What about installing kernel-default-devel ? If you run rpm -qi on it , it tells you about itself: This package contains files necessary for building kernel modules (and kernel module packages) against the default flavor of the kernel.
OK, I installed kernel-default-devel and did not install kernel-syms. kernel-default-devel offers /usr/src/linux-obj. It seems kernel-syms is not necessary. Thank you, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
