Greate information!
I'll reconfigure my printers. Just tried this (I never thought of it before) and got an Osbridge 3 Login page.
How would I login ?? I googled, and Osbridge can be a school or a router.
Are you sure you are typing the address of the printer? Yes I had similar results, however no exact matches. That is the wireless
address my printer shows. Does this have anything to do with local ip addresses?
I was hoping it would give a printer config page.....My router is an asus. There is a way to connect USB printers, in which the printer is connected to a special USB socket in a router or access point, and this AP does the talking with the computers. What you are are seeing could be

It certainly has to be a local ip address.
I only know of the HP EWS (Embedded Web Server) and JetDirect (which does the same). AFAIK this is only for networked printers, not USB. The address should be the LAN IP assigned by/configured in the router.
Certainly. But you can convert an USB only printer to networked printer, by connecting the USB to a special gadget. And in that case, the web page would be that of the gadget, not the printer. Some routers have this facility; you simply connect the USB cable to an USB socket on the router, and then configure the router for this in its configuration page. https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Networking-Print-Servers/b?ie=UTF8&node=13983761 -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E.
