Hi Try unsing fetchmail to retrive your mail from the IMAP server and then you store it locally in mbox format and use any Gui *NIX mail reader you want. I am currently using xfmail, but it is quite unstable and hangs frequently. On launch, xfmail sends errors and warnings: Permission denied, Create failure, Warning failed to create trash folder. Have also tried Netscape, but that seems even flakier (and the fonts are lousy).
Am running Suse 6.3. Suggestions appreciated. TIA. Norm Hummon
