Gives lots of options I like to use, including linear conversion, manually setting color temp, noise reduction, exposure compensation, etc.
Then you need to look at the rawphoto plug-in for the Gimp:
Raw photo loader plugin for The GIMP by Pavel T. Jochym jochym at ifj edu pl, http://ptj.rozeta.com.pl/
Based on the gimp plug-in by Dave Coffin http://www.cybercom.net/~dcoffin/
Provides a graphical display with features similar to your citings above.
Gotta love these communities. Originally I struggled like hell to find dcraw for my S2 Pro, and while I find the digikam plugin useful, I'm not entirely satisfied with the extra steps involved getting it into an editor. Now someone shows me a plugin that looks to do it even better, and manages to integrate with gimp direct. Cool! -- Steve Boddy
