Next problem, kstart doesn't do the right thing with mozilla 1.4. I have eight desktops and an Autostart file that does:
/opt/kde3/bin/kstart -desktop 8 -activate "/usr/X11R6/bin/mozilla -geometry 1103x904+0+0"
This works for kde apps only, I think. Does it work for a kde app?
It is used for KDE and non-KDE applications or so I understand. It works for me with xearth (non-KDE) and with kworldclock (a KDE-APP) In the Helpcenter do to Applications-?Kde->Frequently Asked Question->Desktop and I quote: "6.6. How do I launch applications in a particular desktop? KDE comes with a program called kstart. To start Mozilla on the second desktop and then activate it use: kstart "netscape" -desktop 2 -activate. Please read kstart --help-all for more magic available with kstart (and there is an abundance)." I took the "netscape" example as a bug in the FAQ. In either case, I have tried the command to execute in that position, that is: /opt/kde3/bin/kstart "/usr/X11R6/bin/mozilla -geometry 1103x904+0+0" -desktop 8 -activate Regards, Bob Pearson -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.
