As the saying goes, "there's one in every crowd, and we have ours." On that note, I must say that I had a far easier time getting SuSE to talk to WindowsXP than I did SuSE to SuSE where ICS is concerned. I still have to get it working SuSE to SuSE. XP required using the wizard to set that up, and SuSE required putting the correct gateway in place w/IP Routing.
