I have a ThinkPad T60 and installed SuSE 11 DVD and I got everything working. Many years ago, I installed SuSE 7.3 and created a boot floppy and rescue disk. When you booted up, you had several choices to select, one of them was "boot installed system" and all you had to do was to enter "/dev/hd* and it would boot that hard drive. Is there anything similar available on the 11.0 DVD? How to create a boot floppy in SuSE 11.0? jozien -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
