I'm trying thunderbird. When I hit 'reply' to a message from this list, it gives me the senders address, not opensuse@opensuse.org. I can't find where to change it. Sorry for being so trivial. A day spent debugging samba/ldap leaves one numb! L x
We'll get KMail sorted out soon. In the meantime please make sure your bugs are reported and try not to get hooked on a mail client with a less smart Reply feature! ;)
Not sure if it's less smart. I've no idea why lynn is not seeing the button "reply to list" just right from the "reply" button but the time when Thunderbird couldn't reply to list is long gone.
KMail's smart 'Reply' action replies to list if list headers are present, the mail is not sent To: the reader and Reply-To: is not set, otherwise it replies to Reply-To: or to From:. Which may be a bit of Klugscheisserei* but in my experience it always does what I want it to do except for those who set Reply- To. There are explicit reply actions to reply to the list or to the author if needed as well.
