Yeah I was looking at ndiswrapper... looks intimidating but I think I can do it. Ethernet works fine with the laptop. Wish they went with a Compaq wireless card instead of Broadcom Thanks for link though! Im going to start reading it and see what I can come up with. I was able to dig up the following link which looks promising. Regarding Debian but should get you started in the right direction. For wireless, it looks like your lappy has a Broadcom :( so you might need to look to ndiswrapper or driverloader (www.linuxant.com)
