Hi
I had similar situation... Went to shop, took the cheapest card (unex 10/100 fast ethernet), and yast did auto-install it without no problem at all... it's been working since. Best value for money.

I am getting DSL sometime in the next 2 - 3 weeks, and I need to get an ethernet card in order to hook up the modem (external). Any advice on a good card to use w/ SuSE? Or is there much difference in cards?
TIA,

I have tried several different cards. The ones I am using now are by 3com, which works great, but is kind of expensive. My other card is a Linksys, which works great, and is only about $20 US. I have tried 2 different D-Link cards, but had no success with either one.
Hope this helps.
Kevin
