One thing I do frequently is paste images I might find on a web site into an email. However, recently this no longer works. When I paste, instead of the image, I get a little square, containing what looks like the outline of a computer & keyboard. This happens with both Seamonkey and Firefox/Thunderbird. I can paste an image into Thunderbird on Windows. Has there been a change recently that causes this problem? I'm running OpenSUSE 42.3. Is this in Plasma? Only? Which FF?
Whatever is in 42.3 and latest FF update.
Have you tried first viewing the subject image from the context menu, then DND or copy/paste from it instead of the HTML page?
Already tried that. Same thing.
BTW, upstream 2.49.3 was released a week ago. Maybe see if it differs?
