Just installed openSUSE 11.1 on my Asus R2Hv and I'm having issues with my gfx card (see lspci below). If I use the "i810" driver I get this error:
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error: no screens found
Same here. i810 btw is only a link to the intel driver (was a separate driver in 11.0)
But if I use the "intel" driver I get this other error:
For me (Chipset 852GM/855GM) the intel driver works - sort of. It's flickering a lot on startup (not that critical), but switching screen resolution with xrandr doesn't work at all - it's leaving me with a blank screen and all I can do is CTRL-ALT-Backspace. One of several reasons why I went back to 11.0 after trying an upgrade last weekend.
