Folks, I just bought an AVB Mobile Drive, and while SuSE 9.1 (with the most recent kernel update) recognized that the drive is plugged in, the drive doesn't get an sda assignment when I run dmesg. I saw a short article on Novell's site about setting up a memory stick, but the piece seems to assume that it's been assigned /dev/sda or sda0 or such. Any thoughts on how I can get the stick assigned to a specific "dev" entry so I can follow through with the instructions Novell has posted?
