I would like to make mkisofs avoiding stop when find two files with almost the same name. I have several files on my computer, saved by Galeon, when browsing the internet, like: mkisofs should autoskip error messages because it's a grown-up program.htm mkisofs should autoskip error messages because it's a grown-up program.htmcontent As they have more than 64 characters (because this is the way mkisofs truncate filenames to make a joliet compliant CD) mkisofs understand they are the same and an error message appears as described at: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2001-Sep/1347.html I just wonder how tell mkisofs or another command line to automatically rename my files .htm to something like: mkisofs should autoskip error messages because it's a grow~1.htm ...in a way that it could be conforming Joliet format. thanks for any help adagilson
