I'm a Linux newbie and have some questions. (1) Coming from a Windows environment, I have *A LOT* of true type fonts that I'd like to have available for Linux. I copied them into /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype and *SOME* of them show up when I try to configure KDE. Why can't I see all of them. As Murphy would obviously decree, the ones I'd most like to use aren't available. (2) I started looking at KDeveloper, but I'd go blind - even on a 19 inch screen - if I tried to work with those font sizes. I need a magnifying glass to see what's on the screen and it's almost indecipherable. Ideally, I'd switch it to my Courier truetype font and make it larger. Can anyone suggest how to do this - or at least make the font it *IS* using larger? Thanks in advance. I'll try not to pester people here *TOO* much. ---Michael PS: So far, I do like what I'm seeing in Linux. It seems good enough that I'm surprised it doesn't have a larger user base (I'm developing some theories about that)
