One thing I do frequently is paste images I might find on a web site into an email. However, recently this no longer works. When I paste, instead of the image, I get a little square, containing what looks like the outline of a computer & keyboard. This happens with both Seamonkey and Firefox/Thunderbird. I can paste an image into Thunderbird on Windows. Has there been a change recently that causes this problem? I'm running OpenSUSE 42.3.
Make sure you're using the "HTML" mode to compose the mail. In "plain text" mode, you can't paste images. The quick indication of HTML mode is the presence of text modes (bold, italic, colors, etc). in a toolbar between the "Subject" and the mail editor. To change the mode, try Options -> E-Mail Format -> Only HTML. If that's not it, then try to paste the image into libreoffice or a similar word processor. Maybe the web site somehow prevents you to copy the image. Regards, -- Aaron "Optimizer" Digulla a.k.a. Philmann Dark "It's not the universe that's limited, it's our imagination.
