Hi Folks,
Currently my 9.2 systems show
at the cmd line prompt and other places. Where in YAST can I change that?
For a more generic answer of how to replace your prompt: man bash /prompt_command e.g #v+ PROMPT_COMMAND='PS1=`if test "$UID" = 0 ; then \ echo "\[\033[33;40m\]\u:\`pwd -P\` #\[\033[0m\] " ; \ else \ echo "\[\033[32;40m\]\u:\`pwd -P\` $\[\033[0m\] " ; \ fi `' #v- which set the prompt to green-on-black 'user:pwd $' for mortals and red-on-black for uid 0 Theo -- Theo v.
