I am disappointed to discover that SCPM is not anymore on OpenSUSE. Networkmanager is NOT a replacement. I need to do heavy changes to configurations as I change networks. I am using the packages from 11.2, but I really WANT SCPM back. I hope that if we are many, scpm packages will be released again.
You can find it here: http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=yast2-profile-manager&baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.3&lang=en&exclude_debug=true
and

It's not in the main repos - it was dropped early on in the 11.3 development cycle, but at least one or two people have built it for 11.3 as you can see from the search results linked above.
Note: I got this info by just doing a quick Google search which returned this: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Newsgroups/alt.os.linux.suse/2010-07/msg00323.htm...

I have already found a solution. It's not that, the problem. The problem is opensuse dropping features. Praise -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
