So what's going on?
It's fairly simple. Firefox has a rapid development process with new versions every ~6 weeks. About once a year, a new "Extended Support Release" is shipped. That just happened. The old Firefox ESR was v52. Now it's v60. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/ Yes, all XUL extensions will stop working. I switched to Waterfox myself; they still work in that. https://www.waterfoxproject.org/en-US/ Download the Linux tarball, unpack into /opt or somewhere, and enjoy. Works without any extra steps for me on Tumbleweed. -- Liam Proven - Technical Writer, SUSE Linux s.r.o.
