Maybe you could try some of the software from

You want to be careful about breaking copyright agreements, simply
being able to view a broadcast doesn't give you complete ownership of
it. If you're ok on the copyright issue you can download the entire
Hitchiker's series over the edonkey network.

Is there a way to save a Real stream to disk? I would like to keep the new Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, the first episode of which is now available from the BBC's website as a Real stream or a WMV stream.
I can play it fine using Realplayer but can't save it - any ideas?
