So how can I get into Yast to fix this?

Hi Paul, First, boot to run level 3 (no X.) I do this by just hitting the number "3" key in grub before booting into SuSE. Then log in as root and run "yast" to launch YaST2 in ncurses (text-based) mode. Alternatively, you can bypass YaST and go directly to your graphics setup by running SaX2 in low resolution mode: Invoke it with "sax2 -l" (lower case "L" for low resolution) after logging in as root. This launches SaX2 in plain vanilla (VESA-compliant) VGA mode. HTH & regards, - Carl -- _______________________________________________________________________ C. E.
