Anyway, I am dual booting Windows XP Pro and SUSE Linux 10.1 on a DELL Inspiron 6000. I have an Intel Wirelss 2915ABG wireless card and when I go into the network interface, it seems to find it because I see a network interface that says "Intel Wireless 2915ABG" or something to that effect
What do iwconfig and ifconfig as root give you? Are there any messages in the logs? You can switch to it pressing CTRL+ALT+F10 and back by CTRL+F7. Have you installed the Add-On CD? Especially the packages that contain the firmware for the card. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/10.1/SUSE-Linux10.1-GM-Extra/suse/noarch/ipw-firmware-7-10.noarch.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/10.1/SUSE-Linux10.1-GM-Extra/suse/i586/ipw3945d-1.7.18-9.i586.rpm You could simply add the th packages as a source: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/10.1/SUSE-Linux10.1-GM-Extra/ Sven -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
