When you setup xorg, you don't have the option, at least, not when you use something like sax2. The other option you have is creating a custom mode line for Linux using the following link. You can use that to create a mode line to stick into your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file that will exactly duplicate what you set your Windows settings to. Actually, KDE has made this very easy. Right click on the Desktop, go to Configure Desktop, Display, set the size and refresh rate. I'm sure
