Start looking here: http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz --
I'm using an Airlink 101 Model AWLL3055 that uses the zd1211 chip. The firmware and driver from 11.0 works fine. The 10 db antenna ain't to shabby either. Yast found it and set it up no problem.

I'm using a Gigafast usb dongle that also uses the Zydas zd1211 chip. It works fine with SUSE 11.0 including WPA2-personal encryption. It also worked with Ubuntu Gutsy, Hardy, and Mandriva 2008.1 prior to installing openSUSE 11.0.
