Well from the kde-devel-core email I quote the following:
I expect inclusion to increase non Oracle support in TOra: Make something available and support will follow, but wait for support and you wait forever. At least TOra has some support for MySQL/postgres now.
Actually it currently only has MySQL currently, but I'm working on support for QSql which will add a whole plethora of other databases including pretty much all the free ones.
Have a look at the kde-devel-core archives and look for the thread with the subject: SQL client in KDE distribution? The thread started the end of november/beginning of december. Op maandag 3 december 2001 23:49, schreef Jerry Kreps:

Is there a KDE front-end for MYSQL?
This appears to be only for Oracle.

You are correct. And, it is the best TOAD-like front end to Oracle that is available under Linux. A tool with less capability but compatible with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, VFP free tables (DBF), and others via jdbc drivers is DbVisualizer. Jerry
