And you could go to Southern Illinois and here people pronouce Cairo as K-Row..
hey... they'd get along with folks in southern georgia. they pronounce it the same way! of course, you've gotta add a bit of southern twang to it.. :) had to get there one time and got lost. pulled into a gas station for directions..
