My question is how I could configure the system so that I could use vmware with printing function, and, after closing vmware, >>return everything to normal? Possibly without having to login as root and loading, unloading modules manually at every time I start >>and stop vmware.
Send your Win98 print thru Cups to your host. Install Samba on your host, (if not already there) and enable the minimal amount of stuff you need, but be sure to include printer support. Anything your host can print to, windows 98 will be able to print to.
Your host will be a print server for win98.
John: Thank you four the suggestion. I could configure samba and the printer share, and it works perfectly. No need to hassle with parport device. Thanks again, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
