Plain ASCII text is the standard..mailers such as Mutt and Pine can be setup to view html mail, but it makes the email much bigger then need be most of the time and is just a royal pain in the arse. I would think the only reason to use HTML mail is too embed pictures into it.
HTML email is a pain in the butt.. You never know who is going to be able to read your email (if you send in HTML format) and who is just going to delete the message after speaking unprintable words. I'm glad that KMail supports it, but I prefer text email just the same. Have a great day :) Steven
