curious nobody quotes that there is a set up "time to live" in the trashcan on the tb setup.
I keep only things until I close tb, so I tick the setup "empty the trash when closing" and of course the imap server trashcan is deleted at the same moment
That would be for the trash on Thunderbird, not the server.
When using imap, it is the same. However, I know from my last stay in Canada that AT&T prefers their clients to use webmail, they push their clients to stop using other clients, and do not support imap, only pop3. On the other hand, webmail servers may have an imap server as backend, even if access is not open to the users. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
