Basically this is already the case, because we have the openSUSE mailinglists (with a focus on development / beta testing) and the SUSE mailinglists (@suse.com) with some end-user related lists.
Right, that's the way I see it too. I think the "problem" arises because many people believe they use "OpenSUSE Linux", when in fact they're using "SuSE Linux (created by the OpenSUSE project)". Sounds like something for Novell to sort out - both naming and where you go for what help.
As I said earlier, we are going to look at this issue and will make sure to improve communication on naming/branding. Regards Christoph
