I've been using CVS in a small scale but I have some questions. Maybe there is a nice "A little more advanced intro" than just how to use the command line interface? Somebody mentioned to me that you can't diff binary files. But they can be stored in CVS. How are they stored - CVS stores a file as a main file with diff's to the former versions. Well, more important is what GUI's are available for CVS and do they support all the options of the CLI? I'm interested in Linux only GUI's as well as portable solutions (Web based eg) or GUI's for other OS'es. What happens if there are two persons who change the same file and checks them in.? As I know, the second person checking in will have the possibility to accept both his changes and the other changes? How does this work with the CLI? With the different GUI's? How do I create different branches of a developemnt tree and how do I merge them again? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
