So I went to Packman's site which has the latest version available for "SuSE 9.1". But I hesitated because I have the 64 bit ported version running and the Packman package specifically mentions "i586" in the package name. I know it should work fine because of backwards compatibility, but what I want to know is are there any concerns or drawbacks to consider?
I'm also wondering about James Ogley's announcement this morning of his new ULB Gnome packages for 9.1. Should someone hesitate before intstalling this on an x86_64 box? Any ideas would be appreciated.
