I bought the CanoScan LiDE 60 because it offers USB 2.0: https://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Scanners/Flatbed/canonscan_l...
I bought it because it's small/compact, and powered off the USB (no external power brick).
Same holds true for the LiDE 60. And it works fine with Vista, too.
I didn't have to do anything to get it to work with openSUSE 11.1... just plug it into the USB port and fire up my favorite scanner software.
I used YaST to ensure that all needed packages got installed ... Gruß Jan -- It works better if you plug it in. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
