What kind of optimizations (if any) are implemented when you select to compile a kernel to run on one cpu or another? I have a K6-333. I haven't recompiled a new kernel for 5.3 yet, but I saw a post (by you) earlier that one should compile as a PPro for the K6-2 CPUs. Thanks, Mark --- W.D.McKinney wrote:
I use PPro always with my AMD K-6 300. Works great.
