I just went to online update in Leap 42.3 and see there is one for Firefox from 52.8.0 to 60.0. That seems like quite a jump and again its surprising to see a major version change pushed as an update partway through a release's lifecycle. I expect that updating Firefox is going to cause me grief to get it back the way I like it at a minimum, and perhaps break some of my add-ons. I expect to have to deal with grief like that when I update my distro version, not at random intervals in between. If I wanted system that needed continuous tender loving care, I would choose Tumbleweed. So what's going on?
