Presently, it also takes minutes for your MS server to get infected by code red or nimda if you expose it to the Internet where these worms still run rampant. It will also take you hours *every month* to download, patch, and reboot your MS server to keep it alive on the Internet. Linux setup doesn't look so bad in this light.
