I do not know how to solve this, and moved to Ubuntu-14.4, with a 3.14 kernel. This worked fine, but I'd like to stay with SuSE. (although in
because it has a Ralink chip in it. The older linux kernels cannot "talk" with this chip because of an unpatched kernel error. This patch is part of kernels from 3.12 on. I did try to compile and install kernel 3.12.6, but this kernel failed to communicate on notebook, supposedly because I should also upgrade Ralinks firm- ware. I tried to do so, but did not manage to get it working, as it gave compilation-errors. An example: the end Ubuntu might prove a good change)
