Hello,
any chance to have the wifi card rtl-8732BS work with Leap? right now it's not even seen by the kernel
There is a pretty good chance you can make it work.
Looking at my Intel Compute Stick, I managed to install openSUSE 13.2 on it, although it crashes when I login over the GUI and I don't have any Wifi. I've tried to restore the stick to the Ubuntu 14-something that it came with, but that crashes too :-(
jdd, I think you have a good chance of getting rtl-8732BS to work with Leap, but you probably have to get the kernel module source from github and build it yourself. After adding nomodeset, my openSUSE 13.2 is running fine on the compute stick, and I'll now attempt to build the wifi driver. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.7°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
