Did I miss something or is this server not running qmail/ezmlm for the lists? The original message I got said it was the ezmlm program that was running the list. Maybe I'm mistaken about that or someone has made ezmlm work on another email server but I don't think that is the case.
Yes, I implemented this server with qmail, but _only_ because ezmlm is such a fine sofisticated mailinglist manager. That is why I can say that it gets really annoying when you have to wait for it for 45 minutes to shut down to change the ammount of remote concurrent connections (which you BTW only can increase by handpatching the sources of qmail) etc. This server delivers more than a million mails a day, and the queue gets _really_ big when it cant process while waiting for qmail to shut down. And BTW; the Postfix author made patches to make Postfix work with ezmlm, a search in the Postfix mailarchives will reveal more details. A very nice thing since Postfix is at least as fast as qmail. AFAIK bugtraq is running ezmlm/Postfix. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A.
