As far as I know, the answer is no. You can input the information into the network settings module in yast, but I believe you have to disable knetwork manager for the information to be used. Wicd does let you input that information if you want to give it a shot instead of network manager.

There is a bug that is keeping me from upgrade the laptops to 11.2 (Bug 549447 - unscd does not share resolver options across sub-processes, causing DNS hangs when single-request is needed). I can go around by using ifup and adding the DNS servers by hand. My desktop with a fix IP is ok but the laptops are not and the convenience of the knetworkmanager is a must for me. I tried to figure out how the knetwork manager can read from a DNS besides the one that is pulled out from the router, either a punlic dns or even use the isp dns but I can not find a way and you confirm it. I will try wicd. I would love to be able to use 11.2 in all the machines. Well hope they fix the bug soon.
