* John LeMay (jlemay@njmc.com) [030508 21:43]: ->Ok, so two upgraded machines, both show the same problem. -> ->When I start the YaST2 install/remove software tool, I am presented with ->a dialog with a few conflicts and dependency issues. It seems that no ->matter how I try to exit this dialog - ignore, cancel, etc. I end up in ->a loop. I get a new dialog box that says "Abandon all changes?" and my ->choices are "Ok" and "Cancel". Clicking on either of the choices brings ->the same "Abandon all changes?" dialog right back. Trying to close the ->Abandon dialog with the "X" keeps the dialog and brings up an identical ->one (only with a "2" in the title bar). Continuing to try and close with ->the "X" brings more and more of these dialogs up. Yeah, I ran into this on a server I built at work. I ended up having to just install the rpm's by hand off the CD's. It was PITA since the full distro isn't on the FTP site yet..or I would have just used something that works..ie apt. I would just submit it as a bug...because more then just the two of us have to be running into this issue. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org The IQ and the life expectancy of the average American recently passed each other going in the opposite direction.
