I am looking to replace Turbo Tax and Quicken. Does anyone know of any Linux based programs I can use to replace them?
gnucash for quicken
not aware of any replacement for turbotax, I plan on using the web service they offer.
'Rumor out of Intuit is that they ARE porting QuickBooks, Quicken, AND Turbotax! However, I've heard this in the past and have yet to see a Linux version available. Sooner or later they'll have to port to Linux.
I hope so. Every year I ask their help people when I can expect a native Linux Version of their tax software. You'd think they'd be tired of the question by now. :) Mike
