I just updated my laptop, it installed a new kernel. Now my NVidia-card doesn't work any more. I activated the nv-driver, but I would like the nvidia-one back. I tried to uninstall and re-install, but this didn't work. The download-site seems not to have a new version. Any suggestions before I try compiling from source ?
you need to have installed the kernel-source version to match the new kernel, then reapply the NVidia driver, sh ./NVIDIA-version -a (as root) and follow the prompts as you did before. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
