well actually when I asked the question I did not have
the minolta camera and linux computer in the same
place, or I would have done just that.
but now I have and it works just fine.

Hi,
I recently bought a digital camera, Minolta Dimage
F300
As usual, the only software available is for
Windows and Mac.
anandk>gphoto2 -v --list-cameras |grep -i minolta shows "Minolta:Dimage V"
can anybody share his/her experience with Minolta
Dimage F300 and SuSE 8.2?
TIA, anand
I believe the is a USB Mass Storage Device. In root, create a new directory(minolta) Plug in camera, turn on to the view images
selection,open an xterm
type mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 minolta images should appear in the minolta folder in your
home directory
Hope this helps
