I used to subscribe to ZDNets' "Anchor Desk" and found it to be fairly
informative. Then ZDNet partnered with M$ and shortly after Jesse Berst (the
original anchor) left and Mr. Coursey took over. It only took a couple of
weeks before I became completely disgusted. The lack of any journalistic
integrity and objectiveness vanished almost entirely. Reading the columns
written by Mr. Coursey was more like reading a M$ marketing script. No more
coverage about other technologies or developments that didn't have a direct
correlation to an M$ product. I found this disturbing in light of the fact
the other Ziff-Davis business publications often and repeatedly contradicted
what Mr. Coursey had written. Frankly, anything that David Coursey might
write about can be found at several other sources - sources that I consider
vastly more reliable and factual. I don't bother to waste my time with his
columns or articles.
Just my 2 cents.

Perhaps there is some relationship between the editorial positions and
the parent company's (CNET) financial dependence upon M$.
Just a possibility.
