The error message: after booting into the /sda1/gub-efi fat partition the system stalls with: Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions.
I don't see any hint of why this would be related to the nvidia driver. Must be something else. I found this problem with a few posts on the net after the update of the driver. I do not know if this is the case as I have not yet (obviously) seen
