If it happens to, you should try to find a perl script that was in the news a few months ago - does the same thing as DeCSS (approximate) in just a few lines of code (infact, it was enhanced shortly after the release, to make it work quite well on a moderately spec'ed system even).
Once again, PERL proves... TIMTOWTDI.
