Didn't have time to play games today. I installed dia on a windows box and pdf export worked as designed. I'll try to get dia / pdf printer to work in a couple weeks.
There is no game(s). Sending the print output from dia to *kprinter* and selecting the *already* installed pdf option does it all. Someone else earlier told you to quit trying to make it hard, but....
I really am a Linux GUI newbie (CLI expert), and I only setup this desktop a couple days ago but ...
From dia I only have 2 print choices: "lpr" and "file".
lpr causes the drawing to go to my printer. file I assume creates a PostScript file. I assume I could then run ps2pdf from cli to convert it. FYI: The dia method is to export the drawing to a pdf, but that is apparently broken in suse 10.2 and will shortly be fixed in factory. Sigh, so what am I missing that allows DIA to directly print to a pdf printer?
