I have tried every combination of Pulse Audio I can think of, and the sound is gone, even tho in some cases I can see the VU bar hopping along with the input audio. And the bar underneath it is reading silence. Well that's what I'm getting! Using YouTube as a source. This worked yesterday! someone please tell me the secret of Pulse Audio. I seem to remember some time ago (in a different Linux system) there were several large windows opening to PA, but I don't see a way to get to them anymore. Just two--one on the right, one on the left, not many choices altogether.
There must be some PA Maven out there--HELP!
