Yes, me :) Siemens ME45, using "scmxx" and "gscmxx" (GUI tool). The phone is connected via the serial line.
What I need to do is that whenever a specific event occurs on my Linux server, the system should be able to send an SMS to me with the attached mobile phone.
That should be doable using the above mentioned tool.
I know that there are some companies like Lister, and a few others which have products based on Windows.. does anyone know of a Linux based GPL solution.. Okay I can restrict that to NOKIA phones..

gnokii
gnokii-smsd
gscmxx
gsmssend
scmxx
smssend
xgnokii
All these can be found on the SuSE 8.2 DVD - I used "pin" with various
keywords to locate these packages.
